Dancing Lessons - Part 4

Bouncy curls danced as she unburied herself from the books through which she had been attempting to excavate an entrance into Brier’s room through. She just laughed at Brier already being up and about, and obviously not in her room where Bri had been looking for her.

“Good morning!” she grinned at Brier, holding up a copy of The Princess Bride. “Could I borrow this? It sounds kind of interesting, and I found it in your avalanche of books.” And pulling herself up from the floor, brushing off some of the dust from the floor as she came skipping into the main room right after Brier, planting her little butt in a chair and eyeing the fruit laid out.

“Oh goodness! Did you bring all this out for us? Brier, you are too, too kind. So what will we be learning today?” her eyes following over Brier’s outfit, lifting a brow. “So you can wear that, but not the other outfit you purchased? I think men would fall at your feet if you dressed as you are now.” She was rambling yet again, but her gaze was falling all the way down to the bottom of little Brier, to her feet, watching the one move.

“S – T – U – V….the roman alphabet.” And with that, she grabbed a slice of cantaloupe, popped it into her mouth and swung about to an open area with her feet and began copying Brier, though from the beginning of the alphabet. Bright blues moving from her own feet to Brier’s as she saw how swift the woman was at it, suddenly finding herself wondering how well Brier’s handwriting must be.

“Will I be a ballerina by the end of today?”
